It is with some mixed emotions that we report a staffing change.
First, the sad news: Our Clerk and Receptionist, Tate Volbrecht, has left our employment. This spring, Tate will complete his undergraduate courses at Boise State and received degrees in Political Science and Communication. He will be moving back to Billings, Montana for the summer, before starting law school in Washington, D.C. this fall. Tate was with us for nearly two years. We appreciate his service, and wish him the best of luck in law school.
Now the happy news: we’ve hired Christine Douglas as our new Office Administrator. Christine will be doing many of the jobs Tate was doing previously, but will be also take on an expanding role in keeping the office humming along.
Christine most recently was working for an in-home health care provider, although she has a diverse and interesting background. You can read more about her on our biographies page. We are happy to have her.
Finally, a quick note that we are still open for business, although not quite “as usual.” We are all working remotely following the Governor’s COVID-19 stay-home order, but we have developed ways to complete every aspect of our work in either estate planning or probate remotely.
So, if you have been thinking about getting started with the planning process, or you have needs related to the death of a loved one, please give us a call at (208) 615-5327, or send our new Office Administrator an email at christine@learnedlawyeridaho.com! We look forward to hearing from you.
