We are proud to announce that we’ve added a new employee to help bring our clients peace of mind. Meet Tate Volbrecht:
Tate Volbrecht was born and raised in Billings, Montana and moved to Boise in 2016. A graduate of Billings Senior High School, Tate was involved with a variety of school-based activities, such as Track, Symphonic Band, Drum Corps, and Speech & Debate. However, his desire to learn and grow drew him to Boise State University, where he is an active member of the campus community.
Tate is pursuing degrees in Political Science and Communication. At Boise State, he is involved in various clubs and organizations. As a Founding Father of Boise State’s Phi Gamma Delta Chapter, he helped build a new Greek organization of which he is now the President. Tate is also the Treasurer of the political science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, which is currently crafting an undergraduate research journal for political science. He is also a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the communication honor society, and competes for the Boise State Talkin’ Broncos Speech & Debate Team. Last year, the Talkin’ Broncos were undefeated in tournament sweepstakes and were the winners of the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament.
As a Talkin’ Bronco, Tate has won over 60 individual awards in multiple speaking and debate events including 1st Speaker at the IPDA National Tournament and Semifinalist in both IPDA debate and Public Forum debate at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament. His involvement with collegiate debate extends beyond competition, as he is a member the Boise State Prison Debate Initiative; a program that teaches IDOC residents skills in advocacy and persuasion.
Beyond campus, Tate has worked with the Ada County Elections office to support voting precincts for local, state, and federal elections in Idaho. He regularly volunteers at the Idaho Foodbank, Boise Library, and judges Speech & Debate at local high school tournaments.
Welcome to the team, Tate!
